The first symptom of a vaginal infection is excessive vaginal discharge. Most women have some extent of a vaginal discharge which is usually liquid or semi solid, which flows out of the vagina and usually represents a normal cleansing process. When there is a change in the vaginal discharge in terms of the amount, color, odor or other vaginal irritation, it may signal a vaginal yeast infection.
Here are a few vaginal candida infection symptoms;
1. An extreme itch. This itching is the worst of all the symptoms being so bad that you can't help scratching.
2. Swollen vagina lips, redness, soreness and tenderness around the vagina and vulva.
3. Due to the vagina being swollen and sore, urinating will cause you to feel a burning sensation.
4. Pain when having sex.
As can be imagined, not everyone suffers the same vaginal yeast infection symptoms, and some have almost no symptoms at all, thus it's not easy to diagnose. If all the symptoms covered above do not help in diagnosing it as vaginal yeast infection, you may also look into tremendous fatigue as well as loss of energy. Many have absolutely no appetite, and occasionally there is extremely painful sexual contact or even a burning awareness if and when the vagina may have made contact with the patient's clothing.
