The Candida Diet

If you are a Candida or yeast infection sufferer looking for yeast infection cures, then I'm sure you must have been given some sound advice by fellow sufferers on the need to change your diet. Yes, they are right, a dietary change is indeed needed if you are serious about getting rid of this dreadful disease.


Many times, I have been told, "Don't eat this, it's bad for you" or " Don't' eat that, it's going to worsen your condition, you should eat more of this stuff instead". Do these sound familiar? Some of the advice given to me was contradictory and I'm just simply confused as to whom to listen to.


Just imagine, each time I take my meals, I would be pondering as to whether these are supposed to be good or are bad for my condition. What a hassle! And what a relief when I have finally discovered a solution to this - simply take a Candida Diet!

Food is what we give our bodies not just to fill us up, but also to provide us with the essential nutrients we need for fuel and for repair. Our body will strive and we will stay healthy if we eat the correct type of food. On the other hand, if we were to stuff our body with junk food, our health will suffer and the growth and repair of body cells will be affected. The same applies to yeasts.


Have you experienced a flare-up of symptoms when you go easy on sweet foods like candies, desserts? Yes? What about when you decide to be good and eat healthy foods like vegetables, low carbohydrate, and low sugar diet? Do you feel better?


You see, yeast will strive on certain foods, which make them strong and healthy, and as a result, their growth will be better and faster. If this happens, then it spells trouble for you, as you will see a flare-up of the yeast symptoms. On the other hand, if we were to starve the yeast by consuming foods that would discourage yeast growth, then we would see fewer yeast symptoms appearing. This is the basis of a Candida diet.


But do you know which types of foods are good for the yeast and which types are supposed to slow them down? Neither do I till I found this simple Candida Diet plan offered by a fellow yeast sufferer.


Simply excluding sugar from your diet will not solve your problem. There are many other foods that should be excluded. I was also given a list of readily available foods to start off with. As with all diets, I thought it was going to be tough following through but I did it with much ease. And oh boy, do I feel the difference after just 4 weeks on it. I felt rejuvenated and the symptoms of my yeast infections are gone.
