Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulphate, is used as a drying agent. It is similar to sea salt. You can find it at your local supermarket, and it's really inexpensive. Using Epsom salt for acne though should be used solely as a topical solution. People will often fill up their bathtub and soak in Epsom salt to ease body aches and muscle pain. The same can be used as a treatment for stubborn chest and back acne. Concentrated epsom salt formulation It can also be applied to the face by mixing about 2 spoons of Epsom salt in 3 spoons of water. Clean your face first before applying the solution. It can be used daily. Epsom Salt Face Mask with Milk and Lime Add ½ tablespoon of Epsom salt, 1 tablespoon of powdered milk, 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lime juice and 1 tablespoon of cognac to a bowl. Mix everything well. Apply the mask to the face and leave it to dry. Rinse with cold water and pat dry. Also, when you are using Epsom salt for pimple cure, you can increase its potency by adding few drops of fresh lemon juice to the Epsom salt solution.
